Michigan CEAL (MICEAL) is a community-based participatory research project focused on understanding, supporting, and improving COVID-19 vaccine access and uptake in underserved communities. This project aims to conduct community-engaged and informed research and create relevant outreach materials and programming surrounding COVID-19 vaccine uptake and access. MICEAL works to engage community leaders in mutually-beneficial partnerships and involve leaders in the dissemination of research findings to the appropriate parties for strategic planning.  

Communities Involved

African American/Black and Hispanic/Latinx residents from four counties across Michigan: Kent, Genesee, Washtenaw, and Wayne.
