Dr. Sylvie Naar-King is a Professor of Family Medicine and the Director of the Division of Behavioral Sciences at Wayne State University School of Medicine. She obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Colorado. She specializes in pediatric psychology and treatment outcome research. Dr. Naar-King is the Principal Investigator on several NIH funded trials that seek to improve health outcomes for African-American youth including youth with asthma, HIV, and obesity.
